Dogs, loyal and true,
Man's best friend, we all knew.
Wagging tails and eager eyes,
Bringing joy to our lives.
They come in different shapes and size,
With fur as soft as a summer's breeze, so nice.
From playing fetch to cuddling on the couch,
Their love is always there, never a doubt.
Their barks may be loud, but their hearts are pure gold,
Defending us, never growing old.
With wet noses and wiggly butts,
They are the reason our hearts are full of guts.
Dogs, a gift from above,
Filling our lives with unconditional love.
So let's give them all the belly rubs they need,
And cherish the moments, indeed.
